Aldi's had these big fat ducks so I bought a small flock. I should probably have done one at time but my wife encouraged me to do 2. Stuffed with oranges, garlic, onion, rosemary thyme lemon then rubbed with butter and seasoned with Mrs Dash on one and a whiskey BBQ rub on the other. Cooking one right side up and the other up side down.

Heck of a lot cheaper than going out and hunting one. Just not as much fun.

The ducks came out almost perfect my wife gave me an A- they were just a little bit to rare for her liking. The wife made candied baby carrots, braised cabbage with apples, roasted potatoes in duck juice, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Not bad for my first time. Having a good remote thermometer is a must.

Looks great!!! My grandmother would cook a domestic goose, poking the skin with a fork so the fat would escape as it cooked. Then she'd use that as someone would use butter on toast with a little bit of salt. It is good.
