Mostly big game hunters prefer center fires like Ruger American Rifle, Winchester renegade etc. Why AR 15 is not in big game hunting lists. Is there any ideas like how to build a gun to make it for big game hunting?

My group of friends and now my son, have taken 8 deer so far with AR's this season. We used guns in 6.5 Grendel, 350 Legend, and 450 Bushmaster. All but one gun was pieced together and built ourselves. They are becoming our favorites due to compact size and weight, adjustability, and simplicity of component swapping. We have several posts with details on the deer hunting sections here recently.

My 450 Bushmaster is an AR with a 16" barrel. With a single stage 4lb Timney Trigger it is a very nice gun to shoot! Works just fine on deer too!
