It will go on something light for sure. I don't want a heavy gun to swing around. I'm thinking about picking up a Steiner TOR-Mini IR laser to mount on my suppressed. 22 rifle. When used in conjunction with my helmet-mounted NV, it'd be an awesome lifhtweight tool to take out trash-digging coons and possums. LOL!

I so want a pulsar thermal scope. Saving for one. It will go on something light for sure. I don't want a heavy gun to swing around. My NV is on a t-bolt, not light but not heavy and it gets the job done. You need to pick up one of those Kimber Mountain Ascents. 4# 13 oz.

Nothing NIB today production that is really light. Maybe look for a used Remington 700 Titanium, Browning A-Bolt Mountain Ti or the older Tikka, they made them in the high 4# range. Kimber Hunter is .243 or .257 Rob and is current production @ 5.5#. Unless you want to go semi custom, then Christensen Arms, NULA, Barrett Fieldcraft, Sako 85 Carbonlight, all not cheap....... Heck, you've got the talent, buy a McMillan Carbon stock. a super lightweight action, and get a pencil fluted barrel from PacNor (they are shipping again) and make your own.
