After an ever increasing amount of issues with my 4 wheeler I finally made the decision to get a new one. This far into my life I had never bought a brand new one, so thats the route I went. I found a model and size that works in the tight trails in our woods and has plenty of power for the work I need it to do.
I found one 2020 model on a dealer floor or I could order a 2021 with all the new model upgrades for a couple hundred dollars more. I ordered the 2021 about the start of August because they showed a new one should deliver about mid September. I finally got a call Thursday that the factory ship date is October 5. Gotta love the pandemic delay in every aspect of the world this year. Dealer says he should have it by 10-12 and they would need a couple days for dealer prep and installing the options I added.
A couple weeks ago I put my old one up for sale and it found a new home in under 3 hours. This walking crap sucks.:-)

No. Polaris 450 Utility package. For the same price the Honda was 2 wheel drive and smaller engine |

Got a wonderful phone call about 1:30 Friday so I actually left work on time and picked my new toy, I mean tool up.
Honestly, it's bigger than I was expecting. It fits my trailer great but it won't be sharing space with much. Took it out for a short test ride and so far am very impressed. Plenty of power for the hills and trails, we will see how it tows in the coming weeks. Ground clearance is fantastic, completely cleared obstacles I would rub over with the old one.
Very pleased with it so far.

Thank you, Sir. I really like the 2021 blue over the electric blue of the 2020. They tried to fet me to take a green 570, but I don't care for the green.
I was concerned the body armor package, the bars on the side) would be small diameter like the rack extensions, but they are the same size as bumpers. Handguards will go on when it goes back for the 25 hour service.
When I loaded it up to head home today I noticed that I've already lost the orange piece of web strapping off the winch hook.

They do sell extended warranties.
They actually don't have a "break in" period anymore. I have a 25 hour service for oil and filter change and they'll go through the entire machine to make sure all is good, but no special break in requirements. They told me the best thing i could do is ride it through the woods to vary the speed, angle, torque at different angles, and climbing.
In just a couple days I found out that "new" and "be gentle" weren't ideas that stuck around long. Hey! It hasn't ended up in the creek yet. 👍

What kind of warranty comes with a Brand new unit like this? I Traded my 2007 Kawasaki Mule for a 2021 Mule this summer, they come with a bumper to bumper 3 year warranty. The 2007 I traded never left my property for service, oil changes and new Batteries was all I ever did in all those years. The dealer that I did business with was going to give his father my old mule till the dealers wife saw it. It is now parked in his garage. |
