Crane handicap hunt is Nov. 1 this year. I don't know much, but that sounds like a good day to be in the woods with a slug gun.
How does that date sound to you experts?

Sounds pretty dang good to me. If you kill one and need any assistance once you get it home just holler and I’ll help ya out.

My guide is a great fella, and a really good hunter like you guys, but he'll have a boot on this year. Yeah, just one. I usually wear two, but... He's having ankle surgery. He planned it that way to be off work for hunting season. He's out west Elk hunting now. Anyway, We've never had to drag one very far. They seem to just give up and lay down for us handicap guys. Well, they are tied to trees, but don't tell anyone. NO ear tags though, so it's okay. I usually don't have to do anything, but shoot. My daughter will have to work this year.
