If you notice both the M-4 and the AR-15, there is one common difference. AR-15 Vs. M4 is one hot debate to look out for.The M-4 is a fully automatic weapon that is available for only the armed forces. When you compare both the AR-15 and the M-4, you can notice that the barrel size alone differs. Many people are seemingly interested in the AR-15 vs M-4 war.The AR-15 is known to use a 16-inch barrel. But when you see the M-4, it contains a 14.5-inch barrel.

I thought the AR-15 was the civilan non full auto of version the M-16. Sights mounted on a handle simple butt stock and a triangular shaped foreend. AR-15 being the propritary name of Colt. Slings are attached in normal manner. I thought the M-4 was the newest version. Flat top reciever sometimes with a front sight, adjustable butt stock. A forestock that resembles a cheese grater only sharper with any number of holes and attachment points to accept all manner of accessories. The pic rail on the reciever will most likely sport some sort of optic. There are mutiple ways to attach the sling. Selectors on some models allow the operator to choose between semiauto, 3 round burst and full. Full auto seems have quite the YouTube following that is primarily interested in seeing the barrel melt bown.

I know the M-4 is a carbine and the M-16 is rifle length. The AR-15 can be any length barrel. Both m-4 & m-16 have a fun switch.
