We freeze them whole on a cookie sheet and then put them in freezer bags. Just take out how ever many you need, run them under water and the skins come right off.

Yep, we freeze our cherry tomatoes on a cookie sheet, then vac seal them plastic bags. Dump a bag of them in chili, vegetable soup, spaghetti, etc.
For large tomatoes, we quarter them, then freeze on cookie sheet and vac seal the same way.

My wife takes ours and dices them, bags them, and freezes them. It works out great for going in soups/sauces.

I freeze our blueberries but never tried to freeze tomatoes. We use to can or tomatoes but that is a lot of work. I still have some canned tomatoes at my house that I use for making chili in the winter months.
