What makes for a great fishing partner?
When you send a message to a guy asking if he would like to go fishing and he responds with (why of course I will).
He didn't ask how much, he didn't ask who's driving he didn't even ask where are we going he just said "WHY HELL YES".
This was a tough year to plan trips because of the virus thing but it made it even tougher when guys commit to a trip and then just days before the trip they back out.
If you got a great guy to share your outdoor experiences with .........your a lucky man.
Folks always want to know how much meat will those big King Salmon provide, well yesterdays live weight of the 4 Kings Schall53 and I caught was approx. 100 pounds.
We filleted them boneless and skinless with the belly fat cut off and it came out to approx. 40 pounds in the freezer.

That's about the same boneless/skinless yield of a Yellowfin or Bluefin Tuna.

I have one in my bud Steve until this shutdown started it never mattered he’d call id call him a week from then we’d be on a lake in Canada fishing for eyes and trying to figure out how we can stretch another day or two in

Well said. Hope everybody can have this same experience. I have had one best friendship that has lasted 41 years, and we are both 46yo now! Families, jobs, and age has slowed us down a little bit, but ANYTHING is only a phone call away. Now a couple of select friends make up the difference!

I had a great friend that we did a lot together since we can remember. Pre-school, but last year he moved to central Alabama. He is the one that got me into beekeeping. He started about 10 years ago and kept poking me. He decided to go commercial beekeeping. So now we talk bi weekly, but now 100% on bee subject. His colonies are growing and ready to sell when we are just starting in late March or April. Here it's mid to late May at the earliest. He wasn't into hunting like I, but fishing is his outdoors. Need to schedule a lot of trips to the south next year.
