With the new law in effect regarding handsfree cellphone use, I need a Bluetooth ear piece. I had recently purchased an FM transmitter for my truck but, it's not cutting it. The cigarette plug is dang near the floor and the transmitter angles down. Although I can hear people great, they can't hardly hear me. So, I think an ear piece is the way to go. Any recommendations?

This is what I use. aftershokz.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw9IX4BRCcARIsAOD2OB1spu8w83fbK56VOkoHbEB3UWkqnh91-_12ckUo7dT4D0bsVDXj_EwaAvaaEALw_wcB It doesn't go in your ear. It sits in front of your ear and uses bone conduction to produce sound. They allow you to still hear what's going on around you since they don't go in your ear. What's cool about them is you can put earplugs in and still use them. I use them while I'm mowing and doing other noisy work where I use earplugs. I've had mine for about a year and a half and I use them almost every single day. I wear them a lot while hiking and biking on the road. I can hear vehicles coming up. I keep them on most of the day at work. I listen to podcasts and can take phone calls on them. I bought mine from ebay. It was the cheapest price that I could find. If mine ever stops working I'm ordering another one.

Plantronics Voyager 5200. About $100 on Amazon. I’m on my third one (lost one, sent one through the laundry) and would buy it again if needed. There are cheaper ones available, but I’ve had complaints about background noise and static. Never had a complaint with the 5200.
Depending on the phone you are using it with, you may be able to hear texts and give voice commands completely hands free. That worked well with a Motorola I had, but not the Samsung that I currently have.
