.50 cal. T/C SS Firehawk, with a Advantage camo stock, and a Cabela's 2.5-7 power scope. It likes 85 grains of 777, with a 295 grain PowerBelt AeroTip bullet, or a 300 grain XTP sabot. .50 cal. T/C New Englander sidelock with a Advantage Timber camo Black Mtn Magnum stock. 80 grains of ff black powder/patched roundball. I haven't tried 777 in it yet. Because I'm going blind I had to scope it with the same set up as my Firehawk. I also have the 12 gauge barrel, and 100 grains of ff black powder with 1.5 oz. of #4's is DEADLY on turkeys. At least turkey targets it's deadly. Haven't been able to get a real turkey to walk in front of it yet. ;D .45 cal Tennesee Mtn rifle, built by my father. Browned iron furniture, Douglas barrel, flintlock. It likes 50 grains of fff, with a patched roundball. Almost too nice to hunt with.

My favorite M/L is the only one I have currently. T/C Black Diamond, in .50, equiped with their factory peep sight. My best load is 90 grains (Volume) "777" FG behind a .452" Hornady XTP in a T/C High Pressure sabot, all fired by a 209 shotgun primer.

T/C Hawken Custom, .490 Hornady round ball. .015 ox-yoke patch, goex 2f BLACKpowder (80 grains). Have used this combination since high school and can't say how many deer have fallen to it. The round ball may get sneered at today, but, I can tell you it is a thing of beauty to dig one out of the offside ribcage flattened to the diameter of a nickel. Works great for me!!

I have several muzzleloaders I hunt with. But my favorites are: T/C Thunderhawk stainless in .54 using 130 grains of Elephant FFg and a 430-grain Maxi-Ball. T/C Hawken Flintlock in .50 caliber using 90 grains of Elephant FFg and a 370 grain Maxi-Ball. A T/C I built myself on a Renegade stock using a .58 Big Boar barrel. 100 grains of 1 1/2 Fg Swiss and a 555 grain Maxi-Ball. Savage Model 10-II using 48 grains of LIL'gun and a 240-grain XTP Mag bullet. The velocity of this load is around 2, 500 fps.

The guns that have been repetitively MOA or better for me have been an A & H 420, Knight Disc Elite, T/C Encore, and a few Savage 10ML-II's. I've killed with all of them.

My favorite rig just killed two fine does this week. Chalk up 2 more for the old sidelock and roundball technology of the past. Works for me.

Kevin:
"T/C ENCORE 5 30 grain pyrodex pellets hornady 240 grain XTP bullet "
I have the same muzzloader and use 3 - 50 grain pellets with 240 gr. XTP.
Why are you using 5 - 30 grain pellets?
