I could have sworn I posted this last night.  Anyway, has anyone heard about this? I know T/C has a .45 cal. barrel, but there is nothing about the .50 cal. barrel on T/C's website. I've seen it advertised on a couple of websites, but that's all I've seen. Thanks for any info.  |

I didn't see anything about the 50 cal. G2 Contender barrel. I saw the .45 cal. barrel for $225.31 on page 47. They seem to have good prices on other stuff though. Thanks for the info. tjgeneralstore.com shows the .50 cal. for $259.00. T/C #4204. But below the listing it talks about the 209X45 barrel. I'm soooo confused. It's not like I need any more toys. But..... |

I was told on another site that they are offering the 50 cal for the G2 in the T/C Custom Shop catalog (Foxridge Outfitters).They said they also have the 20 gauge barrel for them now.I haven't gotten a catalog for awhile to know for sure,but they said it's been in the last couple issues.

I believe it's a smoothbore barrel.Foxridge don't seem to keep their site up to date.They still don't show the 45 cal muzzle loading barrels for the the G2 on there.At least I don't see them on there.I just called T/C and they said they make a 50 cal muzzle loading barrel for the G2,but only make a 410 in shotgun barrels,so the 20 gauge would have to come from Foxridge,if I was even told right in the first place .But the muzzleloader you can get directly from T/C. |

It is essentially an Encore .50 barrel cut down to fit the Contender frame-- with a long breechplug. |
