On Wednesday a Canada Goose hatched out about 6 lil goslings on our marsh then Thursday evening into Friday afternoon we got approx. 4"-5" of snow with temps in the mid 20's.
This morning I was pleasantly surprised to see all had survived and were swimming behind mom.

Got a greylag goose sitting on one of the ponds at the moment, looking through the binoculars it looks like she has an egg out the nest, strange.
I'm watching and trying to protect her best I can while on my daily outing , but we will see what happens.
