Just about a week ago I picked up a rifle that I have wanted for 20 plus years. I've checked Gun Broker weekly and some times daily searching for the perfect specimen and the right conditions. This virus scare has made folks a bit conservative and a my rifle showed up for auction with no reserve. I am now the proud owner of a Remington 141 chambered in 35 Remington. If not for a few small dings in the butt stock my 80 year old pump gun would easily be a 98 percent specimen. I had to pass on one years ago because I had just lost my job of nearly 30 years and it's taken this long to find another in like condition. I wish I could post a photo so I could share it with you all!

I was highly impressed with that .35 Remington round. It's a hard hitter to be sure.

I wish I could post a photo so I could share it with you all! I have the exact same gun, it sure is a pretty neat little gun! I love the look of the forearm and spiraled magazine tube. It was my grandpas, and I had always wanted to shoot a deer with it... I got it all cleaned up and working like a top and gave her a test run. I’ll tell you what these brush guns are some real shooters too, first time shooting myself and a buddy both were able put 5 rounds in a 3 inch circle at 100 with the old iron sights. Figured one day I would get a chance to get a deer with it, well a few years later the HPR ruling came out, so I broke it back out and put some rounds down range to get good and comfortable. Hunted pretty hard with it and finally connected with a nice doe, heart shot at 35 yards left a real nice blood trail, she traveled about 50 before going down, needless to say I was elated to have finally reached that goal. Leaver evolution shoots real nice out of it and the FTX bullet that Hornady loads it with has been a winner for me out of this and my .450 BM. Glad you were able to score a really cool piece! Scott
