I recently acquired 2 traditional recurve bows that are over 50 years old but still look and function like they did when they were new. Its amazing how durable these old bows are. The Red Wing Hunter is one that I've been wanting for a while. They are a great design. It's staying in my collection and might see the woods this deer season. The Bear Alaskan is a little light for me. I plan on finding it a new home. I made new strings for each one and added beaver fur silencers. The Alaskan had a layer of crud that I scrubbed off.
