The Fall issue of the Horizontal Bowhunter Magazine is in the mail! Watch for it in your mail box if you are an American Crossbow Federation Member. This issue is the 5th Anniversary issue and is filled with our regular columns by Ottie Snyder, Bill Troubridge, T. R. Michels, Bill Hilts, Sr., Bob Bruce, Tony Eull and Ike Isackson. Member stories include an article by Member Denny Sharrone about his wife’s first black bear hunt with a crossbow in “One Hunt at a Time”. Member Dan Flaherty shares his insights in “You Meet the Nicest People Carrying Crossbows”. Included in this issue is a book review of “Australian Adventures, Bows, Blades and Bullets” by ACF Member, Ted Mitchell. There is also a new item, the letter of the Issue which features a letter from Member Richard T. Hoffman. Randy Wood of Ten point shares an essay on making your crossbow quieter.
