Very sad news... my best friend's brother was working on a lift at his job when he suddenly forgot how to operate the controls. The subsequent investigation revealed a tumor near the front of his brain. It's not that large but as I understand it it's location is such that it has to come out now or he has at best a few weeks, and it is possible--even likely-- that he only has a couple months even with the surgery. A dire situation, in any case.
Lift him up. His name is Eric. He goes under the knife at 1:00 tomorrow in Bloomington.
Thank you all.

Just prayed for Eric, and will pray multiple more times before his surgery tomorrow. I hope he is saved, so that no matter what happens, he'll know he's going to be alright. Prayed for wisdom for his doctors, and for the Lord to put His healing Hand upon him. Keep us posted on his condition.

The prognosis is bleak, and nothing is guaranteed, but then again I know of a man in Burke's Garden Virginia whose certain death was foretold over a decade ago when he was found to have a glioblastoma. He is alive and well today, so "It doesn't hurt to ask," as I always say.

My brother and best friend went through probably the same thing. I think 5 or 6 years ago. The tumer was about the size of a baseball. They removed it but there were sections wrapped around the optic nerves. At one point during recovery he had a stroke. He eventually recovered with loss of good vision and some balance problems. He can see but his eyes are not in the same plane. During recovery he would drift off into another dimension is the best way I can describe it. Also violent outburst. This was hard on everyone. My prayers for him and his family.

Just prayed for Eric again, and will lift him up before the Lord just before his surgery begins. Hopefully, the doctors will have a good idea of how he`ll be after they finish today.

My family is praying. My best friend went through that same surgery. The surgeons removed a tumor the size of a softball. He and his family got in touch with Guinness Book of World Records with the help of his doctor to see if it might have been the largest to ever be removed. That was 4 years ago and he is doing very well and is more active than ever though still no response on the record.

Sorry for the delay! I've been in Louisville with my Father in law for a scheduled angioplasty and stent implant. I've been the appointed driver. (I told someone I was so uptight that I farted in the waiting room and the only thing that heard it was a service dog!) All went well on that operation.
Eric's tumor was removed as well as expected, whatever that means--and he passed his vision and speech tests, praise God! Chemo and radiation to follow in two weeks.
Thank you all for the prayers, they are powerful! I will keep you updated. Thanks to Woodrow for the interim update.
