Question; at about the 10:40 mark there is a picture of Brian on the ice with a small dog and a pile of fish, what are those fish?
That son of yours has handled more wildlife than about 3/4 or better of this web site's members all put together.
That photo of Brian, 2 of his duck hunting buddies, the old dog and that pile of ducks is priceless and hilarious. They look like a bunch of first time outlaws that just got caught by the game warden.
You are a lucky man to have a son who has shared your desire for the outdoors as much or more than you have.
I hope his love for all things wild will continue as his career.
Great video DAD.

That is a very lucky young man to have had someone to teach him so much, and be with him to do so much, and at his young age, he`s done a LOT. Congrats to both of you!

About the only thing they are good for is smoking. Very oily fish.

Thanks everyone, I do feel blessed to have such a healthy, down to earth son who has good common sense. I've always been a houndsman, I guess I've owned hounds since I was 10 years old. I drug Brian along behind me chasing hounds since he was in diapers, he had been to over a 150 bear tree's, 50 bobcat tree's by the age of 4 years old. He got burnt out on hounds and thats on me, he wants nothing to do with the hound hunting. I also started taking him on my long line trapping before he was out of diapers, he would race ahead of me to check the traps himself. Would get upset if he fell asleep in the truck and I never woke him to check a trap...LOL. I used to trap VERY hard, never had time to take breaks, until I started taking Brian. I learned to slow down and enjoy the day on the line, notice all the little things that only 4 year old notices. I'm very pleased he still enjoys trapping, and takes me with him to check traps now..LOL.
