I thought Indiana was looking @ this... www.crosman.com/airbowThe "AirSaber" has an msrp of $369 including scope, the AirBow has an msrp of $999. Regardless of the brand, it'll be interesting to see if the state allows it and if people buy it. |

Looks to essentially be the same concept.
The Air Saber" comes with 3 arrows and is a traditional style rifle.
The "Airbow" is a bullpup design and comes with 9 arrows, to justify the extra $630.

Both are compressed air so why would both not be legal?
Don’t believe one certain model is being listed as legal!
Per NCR link...

I checked out the Air Saber because of the Facebook post. Ended up at a Youtube vid where they were shooting it through a chronograph. Very poor velocity consistency and velocity drops with each shot.
Out of curiosity I looked up the Crosman Airbow and found a vid where they were putting it through a chronograph as well. Much more consistent shot-to-shot velocities. My guess that is the real reason for the price difference as well as a few extra aluminum arrows with the nocks cut off.
Wonder if the Traditions that fires .27 blanks (power charges) to propel their arrows would classify as an airbow? That may even be more consistent in velocity and eliminate the need for filling an air reservoir somehow.

We shot deer for years with bows that couldn't break the 200 fps mark.
