Purchased a fat tire, electric off road bike last fall, Rad Rover is the make. Bought it for quietly accessing stands on the far back sides of properties I hunt which are 1/2 mile or longer hikes. It pretty much does the job as advertised, very quiet, goes about anywhere and you leave no stinky foot tracks. Much cheaper and quieter than an ATV.
It's also a bunch of fun to just ride around the neighborhood roads on. Battery has a life of 25-40 miles. You wouldn't have to pedal at all, but you tend to and that increases both battery life and your speed. In a 10 mile spin around the neighborhood roads, you probably pedal about equal to riding a real bike 3 miles, so still getting a little exercise.
I would encourage anyone to try one out, they are a whole lot of fun. Will probably use the heck out of it when the weather gets nice.

I think deer pay much less attention to rolling equipment than they do to human footsteps. If you ride the bike around the property throughout the year they will probably get used to it like they do farm equipment.

I bought my ATV 7 or 8 years ago for half the money. The deer love the trails, don't seem to mind it rolling anywhere on the farm, and I can use it for working on the farm too.
I'm sure there are places these shine, but not something most people I know could benefit from.

Only a beat up used ATV would be anywhere near the price of that electric bike. Plus an AVT is noisy, I see the deer run away from mine when they hear me coming. We're really kind of comparing apples vs oranges here.

We're really kind of comparing apples vs oranges here. It was a used beat up 400cc 4x4 ATV. I'm sure anything could spook deer at any point, but I've had deer stand and watch me ride by, stay bedded as I drive by, and follow me down the trail and walk right past my ATV.
