There is some interesting comments on fish & wildlife citizen petitions from the last meeting in the MINUTES posted... www.in.gov/nrc/files/nrc_Sept_2019_minutes-DRAFT.pdfNot sure I agree smaller turkey loads/shot equate to safety concerns....yeah they may travel farther.

"Wuestefeld said there are currently over 90 types of deer licenses and explained that the Division of Fish and Wildlife is reviewing how to simplify deer hunting licenses. She stated the Division intends to develop a proposed solution that will be discussed with constituents and vetted through the Governor’s office before a proposed rule will be brought to the Commission for preliminary adoption."
Wonder what the time frame is on this change being its going through the "Governor’s office"....

Now, I know I haven't had to buy a license for about 25 years, but 90 types of deer licenses? I must be seriously missing a lot!
