Honeycutt seems to be a fine individual, but I've noticed he uses multiple pictures in his write ups that he doesn't own. I only say this because I've long thought of entering into the writing world, and have researched it more than I'd care to admit. There is a serious lack of proper citation and respect given to other's material in the outdoors than it appears any other.
I credit it to the insane drive many have to make a name for themselves in the industry. Again, I don't know Honeycutt personally enough to critique him specifically, just an observation that this sharing triggered.
I myself have had images of mine used, and while it doesn't bug me they desired to use it, it is blatantly disrespectful to not at minimum credit and/or possibly ask.
The content itself is sound information for the most part and something any mindful hunter is aware of but is good stuff for new or inexperienced.

I would however argue over the shoulder shot....there are many with heavy arrow builds that can routinely shoot for a pass through of the entrance shoulder and exit under or into the opposite with extremely lethality. All about knowing your set up...I purposely built my set up with this very impact being something I never wanted to worry about actually.

After reading this I'm going to stop taking leg shots. I now know why I can never find my deer.
