At $12 a noc I think I will just stick with white ones.

I can see where they could help.....its all I can do to get a glimpse of the fletchings....crossbows are fast. I also dont see any models for carbon bolts and at the price I probably wont be trying them either but agree that its a good idea.

They are not that new. We had them in the shop 8 years ago for aluminum shafts in standard noc's. One thing we did find them usefull for on high speed bows was in tuneing. Any wobble in the flight showed up well if shot under a lower light setup. They were the tap to shut off type and after 20 or so shots they were hard to get turned off and ran the battery down.

Those are neat. I too will hold off at that price but I do like the idea of being able to see the tail-end in flight.
