Some of you may already know about the following product but thought I would give an update for those who may not have. I was at the sporting goods store today and I told the bow guy about my problem with the flat edge exposed on the front brass insert because of the smaller base of the 85 grain Montec G5. I needed a smooth bevel to mate the two together. I know the 125 grain works ok and I believe the 100 grain works alright as well, so no problem with those grains. Anyway he searched and thought and then said "hey I think I got just what you need". He pulls these out and opened the package and we tried one and it works perfectly. i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/Mudball/Picture061.jpg i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/Mudball/Picture062.jpg These were originally made to adapt and support large broadheads to the smaller diameter shafts associated with vertical bows. Just simply turn them the other way (opposite direction from that shown in illustration on package) and they work great if you want a smaller grain head/brass insert combo.
