Is this map saying there might be a bit of Morgan Monroe in the reduction zone?

Thanks defleck. I was gonna be done last week, but I just couldn't give up. That doe wasn't the doe I was targeting, but I'm going to put up more cameras but I'm switching to cell cameras so I can cut down traffic and putting down scent going to check them. As for my interest in the reduction zone, I live in Spencer County and I don't mind driving to chase whitetail. I got on the OnX Hunt app and there's not a lot of options without obtaining permission for private ground. I don't mind knocking on doors, but anymore it's hard to find folks that let you hunt. I hear ya man. There are hundreds of acres of untouched Alcoa ground out here on the eastern edge of the Warrick reduction zone. Yep.. My backyard is in the “deer reduction zone”. i.imgur.com/DAReHWZ.mp4

Live from the windshield...well, I should passenger seat...
Guess the deer know it's over here. Just saw 8 or 9 casually walking across a picked bean field.

Yep, now that it's over for me I'll be seeing them every dadgum time I'm out and about. Almost as if they are laughing saying " Here I am and you can't do a darn thing about it.

Out in Ohio tonight. I have 3 days left this week and 4 next week to try to fill at least 1 if not 2 doe tags. This reduction program is struggling this year. As of last week they've only had 12 deer taken.

Ok. Back at it tonight and I already have a doe down. I get off at 130 and the property is about 10 mins from work. Stopped to get a snack and a drink on the way. Rolled into the driveway about 215 and look over at my spot from last night and there stood a big doe. All of a sudden I hear the owners dogs barking and here they come up the driveway. She stood there. After a few minutes she got into my shooting lane at 25 yards. I took the shot and had a solid hit. She went 20 yards and bedded up. Waiting on her to expire I've seen 4 more

Make the best of what you still have.

Make the best of what you still have. I'm fortunate being able to hunt 2 states. My lifetime license makes that possible bc I'm only really buying my tags for Ohio. The area I live and work near also has multiple reduction programs that I'm in. Tonight I was literally 8 ft off their driveway. The property is only about 2 acres. I wound up seeing her, her 3 fawns, an 8 point and a lone button buck. I could've shot every one.

Sunday is looking reallll nice for deer hunting! 20 degree temperature drop and the rain is supposed to stop !
There’s still time in reduction areas if your freezer isn’t full yet, just sayin!

I got out yesterday from 2-610. While I didn’t see any deer and the woods were as silent as a graveyard, I still love being out there. If nothing else, it was a peaceful evening.
With that being said..... I sure got my fill of excitement.
Last Sunday I moved my cousins trail cam (with his permission). In the six weeks prior to that, he hadn’t been there or checked it. 96 10 second videos were on the card, and only one mature buck was caught on camera. I only moved the camera approximately 75 yards, but where I put it was beat down and had a bit more cover.
78 videos in 6 days! A 12 point 4-5 year old A 10 point 4-5 year old Two small 8 point 2-3 year (one is growing rather vertically ) One small 6 point One fork A whole mess of does
Out of all of these videos though, only two were daytime shots.
Next season is looking promising! I’m ready to get more cams out and start feeding these guys, but there’s still a littlleee more time to try to fill another tag!

As the Red Hot Chili Peppers say ..... “Can’t stop, addicted to the shindig!” With the bruisers I’ve been getting on camera, and my freezer not “full”, I’m hoping to take one more of either sex. Thennnn maybe I’ll quit lol maybe. Thank you for the kind words! I’m hoping it pays off as well lol

Finished my job today at 2, so here I am! Got to my usual area and realized HuntWise was completely wrong about wind, so I headed to a different area about a half mile away. I’m sitting against a tree I call “the lazy boy”, because it’s roots come out around my shoulders and my 220 pound self is semi comfortable here. I’m atop a ridge , with a small (frozen ) creek in the bottoms below. I’ve only hunted here once before, but when we got our “big snow” 😂 I saw lots of sign here. I’m going to groom and rake a trail back to here next season, but currently it’s quite a bit of work to get back here semi quietly.
Lots of birds and squirrels out and about.
