hold your quick one liners and jokes please.....
About 2 or 3 years ago, my wife and I visited the Indiana DNR at the Indiana State Fair. They had a HUGE line for everyone to try/snack wild game and fish.
One of the surprises we had was BBQ Beaver. although it was quite lean, it was a sweet tasting meat. Trapping them would be something I'd be willing to do.
Does anyone here trap for beaver?

Sometimes I have to pay for an expensive dinner and a movie to catch one.

I have trapped many over the years never cared for the four legged one as far as taste goes, but it could have been the cook.

When I worked at an English language tutoring center for foreign students while in college, a middle eastern student asked one of my co-workers if she would like to go out with him for a beaverage.
She politely declined...

Was given one once. Big enough to fill two slow cookers. We cooked it down nice and tender and shredded the meat and added BBQ sauce. The plain meat tasted just like a beef roast that had been cooked without any seasoning.
