No video with all the surveillance cameras in the Walmart store plus customers. Is it real or memorex? Where did you read there wasn't any video of the guy arrested? I seen one on the News this morning! No need for Tinfoil hat today....

I heard about this on the news this am. They tried to make a bigger deal out of the guy coming in to do the shooting than the guy who held him for the cops! See...you can you guns for good! This will certainly NOT get the attention in the main stream media....the part about an armed citizen stepping up and contributing to the arrest of this guy!

Exactly! I bet they won't highlight that aspect. Nonetheless, kudos to the brave citizen that stepped up to plate.
And good for the store manager to have good eyes and act swiftly by pulling the alarm.

How do even know that the story is real or fake. Most of today's news made up or grossly wrong. The majority of web is not real. Seek the truth.

Hmmm....may be some interesting legal questions. If, as reported, the armed man wasn't brandishing the weapon or acting in a threatening manner, but was simply strolling through the store and sometimes shooting videos of himself, was he guilty of anything other than very poor judgment and careless disregard for the safety of everyone in the case of an overreaction?
Could it have been a staged event to dramatize the "need" for more laws to prevent people from "looking scary"?
Would be interesting to see or hear the actual moment when he was stopped by the armed citizen, to see his reaction to a guy with a handgun threatening a guy with body armor that would prevent most handguns from doing him permanent harm. Maybe the armed firemen had the presence of mind to aim at the head of the well armed and armored guy at a range that was close enough to make it improbable that he would miss?
I suspect the police lieutenant quoted as correct in saying it a wonder the guy who pulled the stunt got out of the store alive. Whatever the motivation, that kind of stupidity can get you killed just about anywhere.

An idiot, and damn lucky to walk out alive. If someone had shot him, I doubt a jury would convict. Idiots like this make us all look bad.

Is he an unknown actor. Being paid to act with what he was wearing. Who gave him that outfit?. So many questions that it had to be staged. Live Hollywood in the streets with paid actors. Just throwing it out there.

When I first read about this story, I wondered if the whole thing was staged. And then I thought, whatever the case, I still applaud the fire fighter for his actions (provided he is legit)!!!

And that ain’t Hollywood.

You don't need live ammo in the guns to "test the waters". If I had a family member that was talking like he was I'd be calling the sheriff and turning him (or her) in. That's just stupid.

FAKE NEWS No wonder he doesn’t believe half of what he reads with people like you spreading half truths. You can only have it in a couple days if you have prime.

His actions may have been legal in Missouri, he has the right to a firearm thanks to the founding fathers. BUT that does not make his actions right. The preacher that used to send out his congregation to funerals of KIA soldiers had the constitutional right to do so. BUT that does not make his actions right. I fail to see the difference in the two.
I just hope the firefighter does not end up in court.

Yeah, unfortunatley being stupid is not illegal, but what the firefighter did might be.
This will be interesting to watch.

I think the fireman's action will pass the "reasonable person's" test. Given the very fresh events that just took place in El Paso and Dayton, I think any "reasonable person" would view his actions as a threat.
If the individual was simply trying to exercise his 2nd amendment right that's one thing. But, he was clearly trying to create chaos and panic. Kind of like yelling "FIRE!" in a crowded theater.

He's lucky the firefighter didn't shoot. I'd have probably shot rather than risk him getting his gun up and a massacre ensuing!
