Has anyone ever seen the limb pockets on the riser crack? Can the be welded? Is this caused by dry fireing? When tuning, do you measure the tiller with the bow drawn or relaxed?

Upon closer inspection it looks like the limb pockets are plastic. Is this correct? If they are than the riser is okay, its just the pockets.

Horton Manufacturing Co., Inc. 484 B. Tacoma Ave. Tallmadge, OH 44278 330-633-0305 or 1800-551-SHOT (7468) I have no experience with Horton, but I would give them a call they may repair it for you. Your bow will have to be put in a bow press to change limb pockets anyway.

I'm waiting for a return e-mail from horton. And I'm taking it to horton guy down here on Monday. the more I look at it, I think it's going to be an easy fix. They realy look like plastic to me and there's no limb damage at all.

I took the the bow in today and as I thought the pockets are plastic. The man at the shop said 25 bucks to take it apart and put it back together, I also spoke to Horotn and the pockets are 3 or 4 bucks each limbs are 60 bucks if they are cracked. So it looks like it's going to cost 35-95 dollars plus the cost of shipping.Horton has a two day turn around, so by this time next week I should have it back in safe working order. Now I just need to see if the ole boy that sold it to me is going to stand behind it or not.

Let Horton do the work. Give them a chance to stand behind what they make. You may be surprised at how quick they get it back to you. they will also know the most about the bow. Kansas
