The new Phoenix I bought my dad came with the carbon. Really amazed at how well they shot. Question is what is the best target for these? I have a styrafoam excalibur target which stops them fine but melts to the carbon bolt. ???Any suggestions.

A little on the tough side to pull when new though. www.archerytargets.com/CompoundKing.aspx

There is one thing I have wondered about. Why is there a "crossbow target" if a crossbow don't shoot a bit harder than a regular bow? Or is it thy are so much more accurate we just chew out the bullseye faster and then we have pass throughs. ;D

The biggest problem is when the target starts getting ate up a little and the 20" arrow bury past the fletch. The longer vertical arrow (28 inches or so) will still be protruding enough to pull them out.
