Hard to see in pic but Deer could be wounded.... who knows what may transpired before deer jumps in water!

I think this is a still from a video. IIRC the deer outswam the yote and got away ..

Correct Woody. I swiped it from another site where the guy saw the deer get out of the water and escape. IIRD it was in Michigan.

Could be camera angle, I thought wolf but the guy who actually saw it happen said 'yote.

I've seen and photographed some big yotes. That to me looks pretty big. And it's very close to that deer.

We had a place down on the Ohio River. Walking the water's edge, we jumped a bedded buck. It had been hit near the heart area. My dog gave chase and that buck is now a Kentucky resident! It swam the Ohio like we would swim in a hot tub! It's amazing what these "walking dead" deer can do! Wade
