Update I got the ninety roe I was after and I am over the moon with that considering we have had no winter at all over here in the borders. In fact I am taking tomorrow off getting on my bonneville motorcycle and going for a ride to some cafes to taste there coffee. I diverse
I have been out two nights with the hornet on Fox patrol and have had two foxes both in the lambing fields. I have taken the Nikon turret scope off and went back to basics with its original 4times leupold. Reason being the Nikon turrets were accidentally moving in the dark. The four times leupold is,perfectly adequate for a hornet in the dark, 200yds is,a long long way in the dark. The night sight I use is great if one is sitting calling or baiting but for normal running and gunning lamping, I find it too slow, by the time one gets it focused in etc, the job could of been done with a normal scope. But It is good for those that are lamp shy. Very late and into early morning finishes are catching up with me I'm tired lol, and I am probably out again tonight, if this wind does not drop then it will be the 308 on the case tonight. Regards to all. Billy

But if you were here in IN I'd like to know what part of the State you live in. I'm down here by Evansville, IN in Warrick County.

Congrats on reaching the quota on the Roe Deer. Now you can relax a bit (well, after you are done foxing).

Oh Indiana is an awful lot bigger than I can imagine then. We have counties dividing the whole country, not part of a country lol. I really cannot imagine the scale of it all over there. One end of the uk mainland to the other end is about eight to nine hours drive not overly rushing and in moving traffic. Tiny compared to what you have. Regards. Billy

Billy, driving from New York, NY to Los Angeles, Ca is around 2,800 miles. To drive from the northern border to the Southern border (not including Alaska) is roughly 1,750 miles....... The continental United States are 3,119,884.69 square miles. Alaska (not included in that figure) has 663,000 square miles all by itself.

The largest domestic stock they take here are chickens or ducks. Do more good than harm controlling rodents.

Greetings. No i just thought you would like to see first hand what these foxes do over here. I have stopped six of them up to now the lambs up here in he north are at there most vulnerable this month. I would of been out foxing tonight but the moon is that bright it is like daylight out there. The weather today is like summer it has been 21 degrees Fahrenheit over here in the norh The buck season has got off to a slow start but it should get better soon. It is 1106pm here so time for a quick look on the site then some sleep i think. Regards to all Billy
