Which is the best. It doesn't have to be what you currently shoot.

that's a tough one. how about another poll with the same selections and a question of which one do you shoot, with a choice of more than one maufacturer. "dw"

With all the Excalibur and Tenpoint guys around I thought I should give Parker a vote . I look at it this way.... If they give you enjoyment and keep you in the woods ... it dont matter which brand you shoot .

I have only owned Excalibur, three models. I have yet to encounter a problem with any of them, from day one. Only upgraded in speed twice. Only problem I can see so far after all this is, they should have a camo rail to match the Bow. But... oh well.

Of course even though I never owned one I can see that Excaliber xbows are quality xbows and really nice so I would say they are the best commercial recurve and 10 point rates high on the compounds. I voted for Barnett just to give it a vote for ONE simple reason. ( reasonable price for their recurves) If not for the reasonable price I today still would not own a crossbow. Not all of us can afford even 350 bucks for a lower priced Excaliber. I am on SS disability and it took effort even to buy my Barnett Ranger which is about as inexpensive of a crossbow you can buy but it works and it killed two deer so far for me.

I have found in the compound models that TenPoint is my choice, however would like to try one of the newer bear compound xbows as I have only heard good stuff about them. I had a older compound bear and did not like it no rail....
I voted Excalibur as it has one of the best in triggers, and should I lose a string in the field I can take care of it then.
