So I am not claiming to be an expert on the terminology of this bill however if I'm reading this bill right you can not transfer/lend/rent/loan a gun to any one unless you were born on the 6th Monday of the month, born prior to the year 1845, must have at least 3 uncles on your mothers side of which she is the only child and under explicit instruction from all the Democrats in both chambers?
I think I've covered everything. Albeit for me to say that our system of government is perfect, because it is definitely far from it, but if they keep putting these amendments into these gun control bills before long you will not be able to have a gun, let alone look at one unless all the criteria I mentioned above applies to you. It is absolutely baffling all the hoops that they want you to jump thru just to have a firearm.

Time to move to Ohio. Ohio is going the other way.
No red flag law!!! Beginning March 21, companies in Ohio will no longer be allowed to ban handguns from company property, meaning those who have a state permit to carry a concealed weapon (CCW) can bring their handguns to work as long as the gun is kept locked in their personal car. Gun-rights supporters are pushing for the right to carry concealed weapons in more places in Ohio, eliminate the requirement that people tell cops who stop them that they have a firearm and no longer require someone to retreat from a threat before using a gun. There is new bill being proposed that would remove the need to have state permit to carry a concealed weapon. State is going RED

Cannot believe what I am seeing. A controversial bill wasn’t divided only on party lines? Someone better tell those Mavericks that’s not how these votes are supposed to go.

I agree with what you're getting at, that not everything should be on party lines. However bills relating specifically to 2A issues should be staunchly contested by the Republicans, it's a base issue for the party.

Indiana has been so very gun friendly, I was as shocked as I was disappointed when the Hoosier state wrote and passed a red-flag law. The so called red flag laws are entirely unconstitutional. One of the core principles of the Constitution is the presumption of innocence unless and until proven guilty, and these laws completely circumvent that time honored part of American jurisprudence. I`m hoping that at some point the Supreme Court takes these laws up in a case and deems them illegal. Even the Supreme Court is iffy though. They obviously got it right when they ruled that the Second Amendment is an individual right, but ignored the obvious when they said that the government has the authority to enact some gun control. How can anyone believe that in light of the words, shall not be infringed?

These so called, red-flag laws are not just unconstitutional, but they`re ripe for abuse. Think "swatting", right? How easy could it be to make false allegations about someone you dislike and likely see them harassed by law enforcement and the courts, and potentially have a constitutionally protected right stripped. Same for those who want to make anyone on the "no-fly list" unable to have or buy a forearm. Anyone can make allegations against anyone, and in the United States, we simply do not restrict or deny constitutionally protected rights, or treat someone like a criminal unless and until it`s proven in a court of law that they are in fact, a criminal. Or at least, we didn`t used to.
