-30 in Wisconsin. Sheesh...
I live as far South as I can in Indiana and I can't imagine an air temperature of -30. It's supposed to be around 0-5 degrees on Wednesday/Thursday mornings here and I'm ready to sell out and move South...

I'm tired of all the cold noise. It's winter and I would be concerned if we didn't have cold weather. I'm glad to see it's cold. My time to rest the body and soul.

Has anyone seen a study on the costs to live in summer months vs winter months. It seems my overall cost to live is less in the winter verses the summer months. I tried to find articles on the web, but was unsuccessful. Only found comparisons on specific items. Not the big picture overall costs.

That would very depending on where you live.... to many variables!!! I could cut my bills in half in summer time just by not using AC.... just like many have done! Try living with no heat in the winter!!'

Give me a top ten of individual items that are cheaper in winter and I’ll buy into your theory. They must be everyday type items. Not motorcycles lawnmowers and boats or other seasonal items

I know my spending outside of heating or cooling is more during summer verses winter. Even a list of lowest to highest costs months.

Your chances of being robbed are also multiplied. As are your chances for a heat stroke and drowning while swimming.
