Looks like a wolf, definitely something you probably want to get rid of, Looks like he/she could take down a couple of deer at the same time.

I have a day time pic in lamb killer thread. SIL is raising kahtadin sheep. And some of her lambs have disappeared over several months this year. I told her she should have let me known after the first one gone. I started a cam back in November. This big thing finally showed up. I think it might be a hybrid, thing is big and dark coat almost colored like a G. shepherd. I kinda want to wait for a coyote contest.

I think its a normal sized yote that has all his guard hairs raised. There is something that has his attention in the woods and he is stiff legging it up there to investigate.

That looks like every one we have on the farm except the pups. It's just the time of year with full fur and plenty of food.

A big old male that would fight a trap until you put a bullet between his eyes. It is amazing how much damage a big male can do to a trap. Bend the dog, blow out the jaws, pump stakes out of the ground, break chains, bend the base plate. When I was live trapping yotes I always hated catching a big male. They were very hard to get out of a trap and most running pens didn't want them because they wouldn't run good. They would rather stop and do battle with the dogs and can do serious damage to a very expensive dog.
