I've been shooting both 2 3/4" and 3" #4 buckshot by Federal with the modified and full invector chokes in my BPS Predator Hunter. Not real satisfied with the results so far and am thinking of trying a dedicated predator choke. There are several to choose from and I'm wondering if any of the members here have a favorite/recommendation? I have also researched some of the specialty predator loads, but the prices have held me back from trying any of them. I have an 80 acre property to hunt that is surrounded by small farmhouses, outbuildings and livestock, so a shotgun is the best option for me. Any suggestions as far as a chokes or experiences with some of the specialty loads would be appreciated!

Unfortunately there is no concrete answer because every shotgun is different. The only thing I can say is buy the chokes from a place where you could return it if it doesn't pattern well. Pattern them on paper at a certain distance and if the pattern is dense enough, leave it in the gun.
I've patterned shotguns made by the same mfg, and that were the same model with the same choke.load and no two guns patterned the same.

Check out Les Johnson on youtube he is big into Hornady predator loads and talks a lot about load and choke selection, he has a bunch of videos on their but look through them and their is lots of great info, he says 75 yards no problem but I don't remember all the specifics. Personally I use an xtraful turkey choke .665 restriction with ordinary 2 3/4 #4 buck, run of the mill Federal, Remington and Winchester, no special flight control wad and 4 buck really responds well to more choke. Like you said that copper coated BB 3 inch stuff is costly and chokes are expensive also but I'm going to get around to it eventually, keep us posted.
