A Fine Weatherby/Gadwall Thanksgiving!

It took the better part of a few weeks to coordinate everything, but my nephews and I worked things out to get after some ducks on Thanksgiving morning near LaPorte!
As I posted recently in the Campfire section, I was trying to work a deal on a Weatherby Element. It came through and it was time to break her in on some feathery friends!
Time will tell how the gun holds up, but so far I absolutely love how the gun shoulders and shoots.
With the modified choke and loaded with BB and #2's this was the morning view:
The first drake down was little too close:
All in all the morning turned out to be quite slow but we loved every minute and another memory was made!
