Well I made up my mind I was getting a Lead sled Started looking and there are several models Question is which one do I need TIA Dale I can't anser the "need" part, but here's my take on them. If you can get away without needing the front rest to be adjustable for distance from the buttstock, then the Lead Sled 3 will work. That adjustability is needed if the front sling stud will rest on the front "bag". I have a rest that looks similar to the Zero Max shooting rest except the tubes are all welded together and the back "ears" have a leather strap that slips over them and stops the gun from sliding rearward under recoil. I chain the front to the front of the shooting bench and take up all the slack, so the recoil has to move the whole shooting bench. Done that for years and never had a problem with anything breaking on the gun or bench. I did have to re-weld the ears back on once. I wish that had the big star wheel for vertical adjustment, but that's the only downfall of that one since I chain it down.
