So I cock my Stealth XLT for my hunt, about 30 seconds later I hear a sound like the string slipped. I look all over and see nothing. I climb my tree and Pulll up the crossbow and set my bolt. After about an hour it gets light so I look at my bow and on one of the quad limbs I see a fiberglass strip about the size of a pencil lead sticking out about 3 inches long. I get down later and cautiously shoot into my decocking target holding the bow away from me, it shoots like nothing is wrong so I reload and shoot it a few times without issue. I take some electricians tape and reset the fiberglass strip and shot the thing 10 more times without any problems. I know I'm taking a chance but I'm going to hunt till gun season with it. Called Tenpoint but ever got a call back yet.

Have you heard from tenpoint yet?
I have an Titan extreme but I bought on eBay it was brand new. Only weird thing is I got a black stock with a camo bow. It was two weeks before deer season two years ago I wasn't gonna complain... Plus it's unique if it were to ever get stolen...

Yes, I got a R.A. number to send it in for a look. My limb warranty ran out this spring (5 years ) so the rep said they will look at it and determine why and how it busted and get back to me and discuss the warranty and repair cost. Hoping they fix it at no charge. Needs re strung anyway.

Update. To my suprise my riser came back fedex today. Tenpoint was supposed to call me to discuss any work done and cost. It came back to me with new limbs and restrung with new bow strings. I called tenpoint to get more information and ask why I wasn't called to ok any work. To my delight the lady said there was no charge for the repairs and restring. I insisted I pay for the string job since it needed done anyway but she said it was free of charge. All I can say is they treated me right and I would buy from tenpoint again.

Is two years too late to register my crossbow? I'm gonna need strings replaced sooner or later, rather sooner... I don't want anyone but tenpoint doing it.
Do you ship the whole thing or just the riser? I did not keep the box. Was hiding it from the Mrs. She found out this year and every time she gets mad she says tenpoint crossbow lol.

You can always send in the warranty card. Might be too late though. The warranty doesn't cover strings though. You just send in the raiser (front end) portion. They run maintenance specials periodically...
