Hi. My question is this:
I have an Indiana Lifetime comprehensive hunting and fishing license, and I deer hunt private property in Putnam County. My deer hunting buddy has moved to Tennessee, and has no place to hunt as of yet. I`ve killed my buck, but want to keep hunting to kill a doe that I want to gift to my buddy. In Indiana it is illegal to sell game meat, but is it legal if I kill a doe to gift to him, take it to the processor, but allow my buddy to make payment to the processor, then his family pick it up? Or, to stay legal, must I pay the processor and pick up the meat, then give it to my friend?

It is not illegal or considered selling and buying meat if your buddy pays the processing fee. Change the order around and you will see where he is not purchasing the meat. You harvest a deer, give it to your buddy, and he takes it to the processor and pays the fee.
