Anybody switch out from wire cable to the newer synthetic rope? Pros and cons?

I need to check with my son and his friend. I know they did earlier this year and broke one. I think they pulled more than rated.

I haven't yet. I think it's the same material that I make bow strings out of. It's tough stuff.

Anybody switch out from wire cable to the newer synthetic rope? Pros and cons? Yes & I will never go back ! I have it on my Ranger ,I plow with it , pull logs with it & pickup large rocks with it ! The stuff is strong & has never poked me once!! |
