Finally got my first deer this year! Haven’t been able to get out as much as I would like. Used my muzzleloader on a nice doe. Not much of a story. Came out of woods to feed in cut bean field at about 100 yards about 4:10 last night and found her 50 yards later. Very happy and lucky

Came out to my private spot this morning. Second time setting foot in the woods and I saw 5 does. Two within bow range but it was just too thick that far our. Got bored and decided to walk around and get a better idea of the terrain. Discovered the feeder had corn under it. Thanks a bunch landowners. Went and grabbed my stuff and left. I wont be back.

This morning right at 9 had a group of 5 come in. Only 4 left...i took one of the bigger ones. Im done for the year will be chasing crappie now.

Man that's awful, do they hunt? Gun season only. They ran the feeder all through early bow but that time I knew about it and avoided going there. I suspect they have been running it all season by a comment made about "the stands aren't near the feeder", when I mentioned I wouldn't hunt till 2 weeks after the feeder ran out. Well thats false to, there is a ladder stand 20 yards away.

8 pt and nine 9 does in corn field. The four closest to me were inline with BILs pole barn. Opted not to rearrange or put a hole through his building. There were still more coming in after legal light. Finally cut our corn field tonight. Going to get good now.

Hit the city again here in Ohio tonight. Seen 2 does at 5pm and they proceeded to bust me and walk the other way. Also found a rub the size of a 2 liter bottle and it was fresh. Back on that property tomorrow.

A yearling came out in the food plot at 4"28 pm, looking over it's shoulder. The neighbor kid was doing laps around the yard on their garden tractor, and their dog was barking it's fool head off. The yearling only stayed out in the food plot for a few minutes, I was hoping momma would show. I think she stayed in the woods.

Heading out the door. Week of vacation winding down quickly! Standards are being lowered daily. A yearling will be in trouble from here on out. Really want at least 1-2 more for specialty meats. Hopefully we can get tonights hunt in dry. Looks like we should be ok with the rain in the northwest until later on.
