considering a Yetti 45qt is $300 and a 65qt is $350 at BP.....I think a $100 knock off brand may be worth giving a shot. I still think $100 for a cooler is crazy, but I'm not packing ice in for a week long trip or trying to keep a deer on ice for a week either. I just need something to keep the beer cold on a hot summer day.....I'm more of a coleman or igloo sort of guy!

I did quite a bit of research on coolers since we camp nearly every weekend from April through October. I bought one of these back in May I believe and they are great. There’s now 3 of us that have them at the campground. For the price you can’t go wrong. We have saved a lot of money on ice this camping season. They are heavy, but hold ice great. Plenty of weekends where we only buy one bag now instead of 3 bags.

If I didn't already have a big Pelican cooler I would give that a try. If you do any extended camping these type of coolers are worth it. I would never buy a yeti. You will pay more for the name. There are plenty of brands just as good if not better for less money.
