Regarding private ponds...
The fish are owned by the individual instead of state so licenses and length limits do not apply. Ergo, also possession limits would not apply..correct?
With the exception of ponds "contaminated" by public fish from say a nearby flooding river... or at least that is how I remember it from my college days at VU as a conservation law student
This pertains to a pond over populated with crappie that need removed

State fishing regulations do NOT apply to a private pond. This includes the requirement for a fishing license, size limits and bag limits.
