I’ve been hearing that Canada Geese are no longer protected by fish and game . That they can be hunted year round on private property.

I have not seen or heard anything stating that Canada Geese are no longer protected. As they are included in the Migratory Bird Treaty with other countries, I do not foresee this ever becoming the case.
