Got a horton storm and more problems than I like. Bought a Hawke scope and mounted it and I have ran out of clicks on left and low. I think that might be the rings so I will put new rings on. I ordered some black eagle bolts to use in them and put the omni nock on them and started getting bad shots, like the string was jumping the bolt (dry fire) This happened a few times and finally the string broke. I took it down to the outdoorsman to have a new string put on. I'm at a loss If I Can't get this dialed in.

Do you know what nocks were recommended for that one? Maybe it doesn't like the Omni?

Ten point/Horton require the Omni nocks. I;m getting the new string and hoping that takes care of it.

All else fails call here.. www.tenpointcrossbows.com/pages/contact-us/I have the Storm too, but it has the RangeMaster scope. Never had a problem with the string jumping the arrow... Just be sure that your Omnis are indexed right...

Thank you Woody! Well my trigger housing is loose and damn near falling out which is why the string is likely too high on the nock. I need to research the indexing of the nocks. Didn't know about that.

All the omni nocks do is prevent a dry fire if the arrow/bolt is mis-loaded or mis-indexed while loaded into the crossbow. It's a way by tenpoint to solve warranty issues and get further into your pocketbook.
Pay attention to how you load your arrows/bolts and the half moon nocks will work fine. BUT, yes, get the trigger fixed asap!!
Just like indexing nocks on arrows for vertical bows is critical. Same for crossbows.

Mine started life with flat nocks, but I went to omni's when upgrading arrows. The omni's are timed to all 3 vanes, so you cant go wrong when setup correctly from the start. Nothing wrong with them.

Well...I didn't know the Omni's needed to be indexed and I have done that now. That is likely the issue. A big thumbs up for Ten Point, my bow shop found cracks in the stock and my trigger group was very loose. They sent it to Tenpoint and they covered all of it under the warranty. THANK GOD! I just need to pay for shipping and I got a new string. Wonder if they sent back a brand new bow? That would be SWEET! Thank you guys for your help and advice!

Shot the bow and its driving tacks! And the scope now works, I even had to raise up and move in the opposite direction so I have my clicks back. What a wonderful feeling
