I'm with Greg here. No blood, ever. Even on the recovery video there isn't a drop of blood to be seen. Me personally, I'd have it xray'd just to prove a point and go to farther. I guess I'm the only one, but it just doesn't pass the smell test to me.

I don't know if I took one that I thought would get people talking there is no way I'm letting it get out. Taxidermist better keep his mouth shut too. It is completely out of control

I know of a 190+ bowkilled Indiana buck that was killed last season that the hunter says no publicity please. The picture is still on my computer.. where it will stay It is amazing how tight lipped that one has been .... |

I know of a 190+ buck killed about 10 years ago. 16 points typical. I helped him pull it out of the woods. He never had it officially scored. There are no pictures of it and only a few have seen it. He's work required him to be off the radar and have a very low profile. Worked on top secret military projects.

Ha! If I'm ever lucky enough to kill one like it I can assure you it's pic will be found on this site just like every other one I kill.... Yep... a once in about three or four lifetimes buck.. |

Milo Hansen sounds like an individual I wouldnt like. If I ever kill a deer big enough to knock him off his throne, I might just do it on principle.

Milo Hansen took Mitch to court and he was told either get the Deer scored and X-rayed or stop saying it's a "World Record"!.... Mitch as been quite ever since that day. He never went to court.. His lawyers just threatened to sue Mitch. IIRC, Mitch did say that IF and WHEN another world record happened he would bring forth his rack to be scored.. Again 4 experts, that put their extensive reputations on the line, said it was legit. |

I read a online forum article lastnight that said they went to court.... True or not I am not sure, but like was said in article he has been quite since that day!
BTW.... there's a ton of reading about this deer and Mitch if anyone just wants to google it and read

I don't care how big of Deer you have killed but when you mount a camera on the end of your shoe to use for peeping you lose all your credibility that you may once had! |

Some of the pictures had tape around the beam where he hit it. From the story is sounded like they kept pushing it across fields and several guys were blasting away. This is the greatest typical buck ever killed by a hunter in my opinion.  |

I went hunting at a farm last year in Michigan and was very disappointed. These guys talked about great hunting and only taking a shot if it would be a clean one and on and on about ethical hunting. (Like it was my first hunt ever) only to find out these guys were terrible hunters guns a blazing every night, 2 guys each shot bucks they never recovered, one recovered his he gut shot, another butt shot the deer and 4 shots later finished it, the worst kind of hunters in my opinion. That’s the first and last I’ll hunt with those idiots.
