If I planted corn for a fall deer plot and in the following spring bush hogged it in preparation for a spring planting, would that be considered baiting if I were to turkey hunt over the field before finishing the spring planting? Thanks, and thank you for the work you do for this forum.

Yes. To bush hog a corn crop is not a normal agricultural practice. The statutes do not allow an individual to manipulate the crop and hunt turkeys, deer, and other species over it. I understand a lot of different factors go in to making the final determination. However, the answer to this question, as written, is the area would be considered baited.
