The Indiana Administrative Code allows for an individual to hunt deer in a Deer Reduction Zone will a firearm from the first Saturday after November 11 to January 31 of the following year as long as the use of the firearm is not a violation of other ordinances. For example, if the reduction zone covered a city or county prohibiting the discharge of a firearm, then the individual could not use a firearm and would be limited to a bow. I have posted the Administrative Code describing this below.
I apologize for any misunderstanding or confusion on my part as to the previous question you asked. The devil is in the details and I want to ensure that you are provided the most accurate information. Unfortunately, I must clearly understand what you are asking in order to meet that standard.
312 IAC 9-3-3 Equipment for deer hunting (f) During the deer reduction season established in section 4(d) of this rule, an individual may hunt deer with bows and arrows described in subsection (b) from September 15 through January 31 of the following year, or with firearms described in subsections (c) and (d) from the first Saturday after November 11 through January 31 of the following year.
