So tonight I had a spike walk right past me and as he walked away I noticed he looked different than any deer I have seen walking away. I noticed he had white up both sides of back legs and clearly his butt if you know what I mean. He was 10 yds away going directly away from me, so easy to see but was getting to dark for binoculars. I am 99% sure he had no tail. I have never seen this and he wasn't a piebald that just had a more white rump as I have seen 3 of them before. It clearly was his inside leg hair I was seeing. I called my friend who had processed deer for 30 yrs and he confirmed he has had some that have either had a tail bitten off or injured as well as some that clearly just didn't have one period. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this as well.

Coyote's... That's how they take deer down. Chase and grab from behind. Have killed several deer with torn or injured tails.
