I have a 5 acre corn that deer have destroyed. I’m going to disc it down instead of harvesting it. Does this make it illegal to hunt over the corn field after it has been disc?

It must be a normal agricultural process. The manipulation of the crop AFTER it is harvested is allowed. However, to mow or disk a crop over without harvesting the crop, makes it illegal to hunt because it is not considered a normal agricultural process. Normal agricultural processes are dictated by guidelines provided by the US Department of Agriculture. Harvesting of the crop is the pivotal point which determines the legality of the process. The crop needs to be harvested prior to any manipulation in order for the area to be hunted legally.
